3-D Renderer Specialist

Peter Marino Architect seeks talented 3D visualization artists for full-time positions at its NYC headquarters.

Rendering specialists will work directly with design teams to develop new work across a range of disciplines.

Ideal candidates will be advanced 3D generalists, with the ability to create and manage all renderings for a project from start to finish. They should be broadly experienced in all areas of 3d digital artistry (modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, post), and capable of generating images from fast schematic studies to photo real presentation renderings.

Strong communication skills are important, including fluency at working from architectural drawings, sketches, photographs, and other media.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in architecture, digital/fine arts, or related design field

-Significant professional experience in 3d rendering for design, preferably in high-end architecture/interiors

-Expert level skills in 3ds Max, Vray and Photoshop

-Familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite

-Knowledge of other 3d software a plus

The role is required to complement the progressive Visual Media team as part of Digital Solutions, and produce high quality 2D and 3D dynamic content for various internal and external clients within set timescales and budget.

Responsibilities include:
• Working alongside members of Digital Solutions teams with a range of data capture, analysis, visualisation and compliance technologies, including the Jacobs TrackRecord and ProjectMapper systems. In doing so and provide critical input to delivering projects on time and budget.
• Using a suite of visualisation tools and solutions to develop a range of graphical and animated outputs dependant on the project brief and budget
• Working in a growing diverse team of experienced designers you will be expected to challenge working methods for profitability and perfection
• Conceiving, executing, and delivering projects with keen awareness for design, animation, architecture & engineering.
• Creating high quality work, both for our clients and on our own research and development projects.
• With exposure to an expanding range of market sectors and an extensive knowledge pool, you will deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to internal and external clients by thinking both logically and creatively.
Essential:
• Industry experience
• 3Ds Max + V-Ray
• After Effects + Motion Graphics, and Adobe Creative Suite software
• Editing skills in Adobe Premiere or equivalent
• Experience with modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and post-production workflows
• A problem solver with good degree (2:1 minimum) qualification in a relevant discipline
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Exemplary focus and attention to detail
• Ability and flexibility to function as part of multi-disciplinary teams located across a number of offices is essential.
• Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues
• Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems

Desirable:
